Bio

Johnatan is a software engineer with a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, specializing in cybersecurity. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the same institution. His academic foundation spans threat modeling, network security, and systems design backed by hands-on lab work and a deep understanding of secure architectures.

Before entering the financial sector, Johnatan gained experience at startups like Ludex.gg and Pharonyx (acquired by StackCT), where he built and scaled products in fast-paced environments.

He later joined Morgan Stanley, where he worked on mission-critical institutional trading software, internal vulnerability management systems, and identity and access management (IAM) platforms. This experience allowed him to refine both his technical execution and strategic impact within a highly regulated environment.

Beyond his professional work, Johnatan has actively explored emerging technologies. He was an engaged contributor to the Waterloo Blockchain Association, where he immersed himself in the Web3 ecosystem and earned podium finishes at several international hackathons. He is also team captain of a competitive Montreal dragon boat crew.

Johnatan thrives in high-stakes environments where clarity and quality matter most. His interests lie at the intersection of secure systems, long-term maintainability, and elegant software design. He believes that engineering excellence means not only shipping fast, but building resilient systems that scale and evolve.
